Director
Mfundo obtained his B Juris from the University of Transkei in 1990 and his LLB from the University of Natal (PMB) in 1993.
He worked for Business Partners (then Known as SBDC) as a Legal Advisor for a period of three years at the Port Elizabeth Regional offices.
Thereafter he commenced his Articles of Clerkship with Oosthuizen Hazell and Wilmot and was admitted as an attorney in 1998.
After working as a Professional Assistant for a year, he then joined the State Attorney Division as an Assistant State Attorney.
During this period he obtained his Masters of Law in Commercial Law through UNISA, specialising in Banking Law and Company Law.
He joined LEXICON in April 2003 as a Director.
He is LEXICON’s Head of the Commercial and Conveyancing Divisions of our firm and also project manages the Low Cost Housing projects that we handle for the various local authorities throughout the Eastern Cape.
Furthermore he is a directly involved in the management of all aspects of the business and the day-to-day running of the practice.
Mfundo has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, debt collecting and the drafting of various commercial contracts.
He was admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary in 2004 and 2005 respectively.
He has subsequently obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Taxation.
